How close are you to local shops and amenities?

Both our developments are situated within easy reach of local facilities, meaning you’ll always feel you can nip to the shops whenever you need to. Muir House has a local supermarket, post office and other shops all within a 5 minute walk. Priest Croft also has excellent local facilities including supermarkets, pharmacy and library within a similar distance. The New Forest Bistro just round the corner deliver to us regularly!

Age Concern New Forest are an important local partner. Their offices are located just down the road from Muir House, in Dibden Purlieu. They provide lots of services to our tenants, such as free IT training, befrienders service, a good neighbours service, foot care clinics and lots of other advice.

What are Dibden Purlieu and Blackfield like?

Our two properties in Dibden Purlieu and Blackfield are only 3.5 miles apart but the two areas have their own distinct feel.

Dibden Purlieu has a busier vibe, it’s closer to the local marina at Hythe and is a slightly shorter journey by car to central Southampton. Blackfield, to the south, is quieter and closer to the coast. The popular Lepe Country Park and Exbury Gardens are just a short drive away.

What both properties share is proximity to all the facilities of a major city, with central Southampton just the other side of Southampton Water to the east, plus easy access to the beautiful New Forest on our doorstep to the west. The nearest train station (Ashurst) is 15 mins away by car.

How close are you to the New Forest and how accessible is it?

Both of MuirCroft’s developments are adjacent to the New Forest National Park, one of the most beautiful areas of southern England. Beaulieu, Brockenhurst and Lymington are all within easy reach and the stunning open heathland and oak woodland begins within a 5 min drive of both our properties.
